ABC has these games. They have not indicated whether these games will be in HD or not. Neither was in HD last year. With NFL still going on I doubt the Big 12 Championship game will be in HD.
ESPN has been broadcasting their Saturday night games in HD. There is no Saturday night game for ESPN on the night of the Big XII championship game, so it seems like there would be room in the schedule for an HD production of the Big 12 game, assuming ABC Sports would have the same equipment and production crew at their disposal as ESPN.
You gotta point looks like there is hope. I will be watching for a Big 12 Championship press release.
