For the first time, they’re testing with an HD signal from CBS and JAG looks pretty good. The sound was a little choppy at first, but they seem to have worked that out. I’m getting a very strong signal in the upper 90s in Stillwater. Not sure how long they’ll be on, but check it out…

note from pluckyhd: Jag is in hd tonight. picture is good having some audio problems though that is expected. I am so pumped about finally having cbs hd. If they turn it on for any of the football games that is a plus.

Definitely a better picture than ABC and NBC. I would go CBS>ABC>NBC. Hopefully they will have it on during the sunday football game.
Looking Good KWTV! Sound is a little choppy at times but I know that there are some bugs to worked out.
I’m in south east Edmond and getting good signal strength on 39-1, between 72 and 93. Saw the end of JAG and now watching The Handler.
I agree the video was great though I had good sound; however I didn’t catch the first part of the program. The meter ran in the upper 90′s whic is best of all though only 33 is a problem in that it sometimes breaks up and 24 doesn’t come in at all (so that should be called a problem) they go from zero to 24 on the meter and for my set that does not provide enough data for it to reconstruct an image.
Looking good this evening except for the sound which the PSIP (Program System and Information Protocol) lists as "dual mono." I agree that the picture bests ABC and NBC HD.
Is it time to add KWTV-DT to the OKC list of DTV station on the air?
I don’t think you guys should get your hopes up for the weekend. The current setup still requires someone to be around to turn it on and off. You can tell that somewhat by the fact that their running the CBS promo spot instead of local commercials, like KFOR and KOCO do.
We’ll probably add them to the list once they’re on with a predictable schedule, which shouldn’t be long now.

I love the CBS HD It’s All Here Demo. That is great stuff.
This morning channel 24 (25-1) jumped from mid 20s to 40 on the meter [atmospherics no doubt] but once in a while the video and audio both block up. I may try rotating the antenna a little when it gets warm enough.
I have the Hughes Directv receiver and tried rescanning all the local digitals…39 came up as an analog signal and not digital? What do I do…this was at 7:45p last nite…I thought KWTV had a digital signal going?
Next in the menu try and see if you are getting any signal strength from channel 39. Also try and enter 39-1 on your receiver.
Congrats on CBS HD guys!!!! Looks like OKC and Tulsa are locked and loaded for OTA HD.
Well I’ve watched about two minutes of the Georgia LSU game and I’m about to shut it off as it’s pixelating to high heaven. I mean BAD. I’ve about had it with KOTV or CBS or whoever or whatever is causing this. It’s getting a tad old.
I think it is KOTV running that sub channel. Everyone in Tulsa needs to call and politely ask them to drop the sub channel on Monday.
I called them friday and got voice mail. I’ll try again on Monday.
I’ll call Monday as well. I can’t take much more killer HD content ruined by this.
