KOKH

I recently bought a home in Mustang. I bought a ChannelMaster antenna and installed it in the attic. I can get a good signal from all DTV channels except KOKH. I understand it is broadcasting at a low signal, but I can get very good signals from all other channels (including KOCB), but I don’t get ANY signal for KOKH at all.

Does KOKH stop transmitting at times?

I get KOKH-DT with 3 bars of signal (CBS/ABC get 10-11) on my Samsung SIR-T151 from just over a mile away from the towers. You’re gonna probably just have to wait until they pump up the power, since I’m barely getting it from within the shadow of the antenna.

I live in Yukon, and can barely get KOCB, sometimes I can’t. KOKH is practically not existant. What is the model number of the channel master antenna that you installed? They seem to be getting alot of good comments. Also are you using any kind of gain amplifier? I have tried a few and they did not help.

KOKH seems to be a problem channel for everyone even if they get KOCB-DT. Some days I pick it up [near Tinker}. Once after not receiving it at all after moving the antenna it came in so well I wrongly concluded they had increased their power; now I check the meter. It never goes above 40. I have thought about moving the antenna back where it was but there is a problem with tree-damage that could occur. I was able to pick KOKH all the time from that location. Strangely, I could never pick up KOCB until I moved the antenna! Now KOCB comes in until KETA signs on, then comes in again when they sign off.

Thank you all for your comments!

I am using the largest ChannelMaster antenna they carried at Lowe’s (52"?) It is HUGE, but luckily I have a large attic.

I have not tried ANY amplifier. Since all the DT channels work great except for KOKH-DT I didn’t want to buy one unless it appeared it would help.

It doesn’t appear it will help, so I won’t likely buy one.
