DLP Theater in Shawnee

I check DLP.com every once and while to see if we are ever going to get a DLP theater in the OKC metro area. The closest theater with a DLP projector is in Plano until now. I am not sure when this opened but from looking at the web site it looks like they haveĀ 5 DLP projectors. Has anyone been to this theater? I am wanting to go check this out.

Wow, I grew up going to this theater, it opened in the 80’s. Next time I go home I will have to check it out!

I have recieved several e-mails from the CEO of Warren Theaters ( the company building the luxury theater in Moore) and they said they are going to have DLP screens as well. The only thing they were going to try and decide is if they were going to make all 20 screens DLP or not.

I also will have to try and get to Shawnee sometime to check out the theater to see if it actually has DLP.

  3. Phillip responds:

Cool actually I just checked there site and they say they have 8 DLP screens…WOW
I will have to make a trip maybe tomorrow!

  4. Phillip responds:

Also not sure if anyone new but Harkins has one digital screen. Right now they are only doing the digital 3D showing of Meet the Robinsons also its in a small screen. I believe screen number 9.

  5. Phillip responds:

Actually sorry I correct myself, right now they are actually showing Pirates 3 on the digital screen.
