KFOR and KAUT Sale Completed…

mscott posted in the forums:

Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but Local TV LLC completed their purchase of KFOR and KAUT on Monday.

I read in the Oklahoman today that General Manager Tim Morrissey has left his post. Change is certainly afoot; we’ll see whether any of it is positive.

Perhaps the new owners will put an emphasis on the little things. Like switching back to the HD feed when there is no weather map overlay to interfere. Like last night; no HD again from 9-10 PM.

I’m pretty sure KFOR had the golf tournament in HD Saturday afternoon. And, I think the NBC nightly news was in HD, at least partially, Friday afternoon.
