    Excellent…

    Thanks for the update…

  2. pluckymce responds:

Good news. But a drop in the bucket compared to what directv has already confirmed and dish has.

  3. ggore responds:

HistoryHD had announced earlier that they would be on DirecTV in September, but ads Sunday night during Ice Road Truckers on regular History Channel indicated that it is available now. Does anyone have any information on this?

Last time I talked to a History Channel affiliate rep. they told me it would be September or the end of the year before HistoryHD was available to cable.

  4. NormanHD responds:

A&E HD is great and all, but its in SD 90% of the time it seems. Reruns of CSI: Miami and the Sopranos are about all it has to offer right now.

  5. justin responds:

Direct tv does not have near the amount of Hd channels that Cox offers. Dtv does not have the local stations in hd unless you want to use an antenna . No national geographic hd no A&E HD. Dish and DTV both compress the picture to a point which affects picture quality. I have cox hd and only over the Air looks slightly better.
