I went to Harkins Theater tonight in Bricktown to catch Live Free or Die Hard. When I went purchase the tickets I noticed there was a “DLP-Transformers” entry on the kiosk. I went and checked out theater number 9 and it had DLP-Transformers in the sign above the door. I have to go check this out over the weekend. I have been waiting for this for a long long time.

It is wonderful to have DLP in OKC. “Meet The Robinsons” was shown at Harkins in 3D DLP a few months ago. About 90% into one showing, half the screen turned purple and we got a re-admission ticket. I look forward to more 2D and 3D DLP films at Harkins. The sharpness and clean image is a treat!
I watched POTC: At worlds end there on the DLP projector, and I was not impressed. I am sure they do not have it setup correctly. The colors were definitely better though, just not as good sharpness. I will watch transformers on it and see if it is any better. Either way, it is a start.
