KWTV DT joined DISH early in the week.
With just 4 days remaining I am wondering what channels DISH will be using to add the coming 15 channels of HD.
Dish HD channel only shows the 4 major channels for HD but there are markets where they actually carry more channels. I am thinking that if they add PBS it will be the local channel rather than the 24hr PBS-HD channel.
I noticed that they also elected not to carry any of the sub channels for the four currantly available.
Has anyone seen the 1-2 second video freeze ups on the local channels carry by dish network??

I’ve seen some hiccups, but figured they were local issues and/or network issues. Its not enough to bother me though. I’m pretty sure that the only station in the OKC metro (besides PBS) that has a sub is KFOR (WxPlus). I could be wrong. Subs are not that big of a dela to me, and neither is PBS since I can grab that OTA.
Brief displays of tint blocks can occur anywhere in the system — I even saw them on analog signals because they occur in the digital feed from the network ~ but I only saw a few and they did not last long about the 2 seconds the rest of you saw.
KOCO has a sub — the weather radar — but I have not seen them from 25 in a long time. I think there is a 52-1 and 52-2 but they are not on DISH. I don’t really miss them; it was just a curiosity if any one carried any of them.
We get all the local stations over the air without any trouble but the DISH feed makes reception of locals on a 2nd receiver [left to my own choice I would not pay for locals at all]
