DISH added a few more hd sport channels but they certainly are not proceeding with the other new channels. I was hoping that this was just temp. They dropped their HD channel with its continuous claim of providing more HD than anyone else tho they may resume it with a change in direction since it was also used in stores displays.

Pending sale? The Dish/at&t merger is nothing but speculation at this point. Even if they announce today, they will have huge hurdles to jump over at the FCC, SEC and Justice Dept.

Dish has a new satellite for locals that is tentatively scheduled to launch sometime in early Spring. Right now I think everything at Dish is on hold because of the pending sale to AT&T.
