Local Football NOT in HD

According to HD Sports Guide, Oklahoma State’s game hosting the Texas Longhorns in Stillwater and Oklahoma’s game in Norman against the Texas A&M Aggies will both be in HD this weekend.

OSU’s game against Texas will kick off around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday while OU’s game against Texas A&M will kick off around 7 p.m. Both games are televised by ESPN on ABC (Channel 5 in Oklahoma City and Channel 8 in Tulsa).

UPDATE from Kevin Sherrard: I found out from KOCO that neither game will be produced in HD.

    The OU - Texas A&M game is in Norman by the way and not in College Station…

    What is it with ABC sports? Every saturday I see game after game being broadcast in SD while almost no one else broadcasts anything but HD anymore.

    It makes the games on ABC/KOCO so much less appealing that I usually tune to another game.
