OETA has the only channels in this market that switch from two subchannels to four multiple times per day. Honestly, I don't think we need a dedicated Oklahoma channel and during the day we have children's programming on OETA 13-1 and 13-4. There simply isn't enough programming to have four subchannels. Both my Dish 6000 and Dish 811 HD receivers freak out when the subchannels change. I don't think the TV and ATSC tuner manufacturers ever thought the number of channels would change during the day. They purport to be Public Television for ALL of Oklahoma, yet the only people allowed to watch PBS-HD are those in Oklahoma City. And having to totally reprogram my TV every time I want to watch something in HD on OETA is ridiculous.
