I haven't been down to the ranch in Ada in over a year to see how 10 and 12 are doing. I know the 2 hd feeds on 12 looked good the last time I was there, but 10 had not gone hd at that time yet. They were still stretching the analog feed. Channel 2 normally looks good for regular programming, they must have made some adjustments when they switched the NBC weather plus channel on, because regular hd show like Heroes and such looked terrible for a week or so after it came on. But NBC football has never looked good. The graphics always have macroblocking and the field has the swimming pool effect. I think NBC Sports must use different (outdated) equipment because regular NBC programming is usually good and Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are good in hd also. I wish I could decode the 35MB Feed from the satellite easier, with my FTA stuff.

Sounds like the channel 2 tech does not have his mpeg2 encoder set right. kten 10-1 has the same problem. kfor picture sucks 95% only looks good from nbc feed only. Local video is green color and sucks big time!

NFL from Dish in mpeg 4 and CBS in Tulsa looked very close with CBS slightly better. NBC sucked as always. I don't know why football always looks so bad on channel 2. There was macro blocking in the graphics and the grass was moving like the ocean when you had a wide shot of the field. It is either channel 2 equipment or NBC's, but I have yet to enjoy any football game on NBC. I think CBS would have looked even better if channel 6 didn't have the CW subchannel.
