Ethernet is probably there for PPV billing. I've read that the HR20/21 is going to use IP sans a phone line for this purpose.

The tuner has not been released yet, only a brochure has been leaked. I would venture to guess that this will be released sometime around the release of MCE Fuji. And why would there be a firewire port? Who uses firewire? USB is much more ubiquitous than firewire. The ethernet port is very interesting because I can find no reason to have the port, so we will just have to wait and see. I do hope this comes out quickly becuase I am tired of not having HD cable from Cox becuase they believe everyone that knows anything about a computer is a pirate.
