Loss of KOKH DT in Western Oklahoma
I am seeking input from viewers who have lost the ability to view KOKH Digital in Western Oklahoma. As you know, KOMI was granted a STA to increase power from 160 watts ERP to 15kW ERP back in November 07. Since doing this, many viewers have lost the ability to view KOKH’s DTV signal. If you have lost the ability to view KOKH’s DTV signal, would you please call the station at 405.843.2525 and ask for Steve Bottkol or shoot me a email at dtvinfo@cox.net
Thanks,
Steve Bottkol

I live in Oklahoma City but I am wondering why two stations so close together have the same frequency assigned to them. I am assuming that this is the problem since there is supposed to be no problem with adjacent channels with digital broadcasting.
It’s the same thing as the KOCO/KSWO situation regarding Lawton, two stations 90 miles apart on the same frequency, ridiculous.
Why can the FCC exercise some kind of authority they are said to have and tell one or the other to get on a differant frequency; then no problem ~ for either sets of stations. Or woulld that be too simple?
