House after Super Bowl

Matt writes:

Hey guys:

Can it possibly be true that KOKH-DT is not going to show the next-to-last new episode of House after the Super Bowl, to air their joke of a local newscast? They still can’t record and playback HD, as far as I know, so this means that with only two episodes of House left, we’re not going to get to see one??

Can you verify this and get any reasoning from KOKH?

If this is true, then not only will I never watch that joke of a newscast, I will stop speaking to anyone who does. How pathetic can they get, killing the annual post-Super Bowl program that’s heavily advertised, to try to trick people into watching their failed fear-based “ZOMGRUNFORYOURLIVESYOURGONNADIIIIEEE!!111!!!ONE!” newscast?

  1. Dennis Whiteman responds:

I’m sure KOKH will confirm this, but “House” is a national broadcast and there’s no way that KOKH does anything different than another other Fox affiliate in the U.S.

  2. mdeatherage responds:

I hope you’re right, Dennis, but my (TiVo) program guide says no House, just KOKH News after the Super Bowl.

  3. JWVoiceovers responds:

“House” WILL air following the Super Bowl on KOKH FOX 25. The news will air immediately following “House”.

  4. mdeatherage responds:

Excellent! I hope the program guides get updated so folks (like me) who have season passes on “House” at least see it show up in the to-do list!

  5. Kevin Sherrard responds:

You might have record it manually.

  6. servicetech responds:

Why can’t KOKH record and play in HD? There are people doing it with a PC, I don’t see why it’s so tough for KOKH to do it…
