   WOOF! I would have thought that SciFi would have been top priority. Don’t get me wrong, I watch quite a bit of CNN, however does it need to be HD?

   The Weather Channel HD ? Maybe the Home Shopping Network HD or C-Span HD will be next.

   Finally. It is about time they added USA and Sci-Fi HD to their line up. Just wish they would be adding them earlier in May so I could watch more of Battlestar Galactica in HD.

   Hey, I like the Weather Channel! But then again, I’d probably watch CSPAN-HD if they offered it… so I’m a bit of an oddball.

   Awesome! Can’t think of any other channels I really want in HD or would watch. Wait scratch that….. The only others I would want is Foxnews, Foxbusiness, and the Golf Channel. After those I’m good for the long haul. Great job Cox! Frakkin Great.

   DANG! I’ve been renting so many movies through Netflix that I have become very close to canceling cable. Now that Sci-Fi is coming, I guess I’ll keep it. Stupid Sci-Fi channel - I wouldn’t have cable at all if wasn’t for MST3k way back when….

    I wonder how many will be viewable without a cable box. Just a QAM tuner doesn’t always cut it.

    I highly doubt any of them will be viewable without a cable box or cable card. They basically are only doing the local channels through a basic QAM tuner.

    From the FWIW department…

    The new channels are showing up on the Cox onscreen guide this afternoon here in the OKC market. There is no program information and if you tune to one of the new channels you see a display stating something to the effect that “Cox Presents USA HD starting on 20 May 2008″ or words to that effect for each of the new channel offerings.

    Look for Versus/Golf HD next week on Cox. Channel 724.
