Sooner Al,
That was the problem. I realized it shortly after I posted that I probably had to be subscribed to the tier with VS in it. I went ahead and added all the tiers today for an additional $6 or whatever it is. Still not much Golf Channel HD content it seems.

You need to be subscribed to the "Sports & Information" tier in order to get Versus/Golf Channel HD on Cox Channel 724. Perhaps that is your problem? That tier costs me $2 per month. The NFL Network in SD & HD is included. You really should call Cox if your already subscribed to that tier and not getting Versus/Golf Channel HD on Cox Channel 724.

Well, 724 is still dark for me and I'm using a TivoHD with an M-Card. I would call Cox, but experience tells me they won't have any idea. Ah, well. If Big Break were being shown in HD, I would be more frustrated, but hopefully it will start working soon...

Cox now has the Versus/Golf HD channel listed as "Coming Soon" on the channel guide for both OKC and Tulsa. See channel 724...
