Reuters reports:
DISH Network Corp's plans to roll out more high definition video channels received a boost in the early hours of Wednesday after the successful launch of its EchoStar XI broadcast satellite.

That’s all well and good, but for now, at least, the biggest problem seems to be getting someone from Dish Network to make the trip to the house at the appointed day & time to do the installation.
My parents and my sister, separately, have had problems with Dish Network in terms of getting them to come out and not cancel or re-schedule the appointment without consulting with us (the customers!) first. Grrrrrr.
