And I suspect the turn around from Denver to St. Paul was just too quick to get all the gear there for the first two days. Four years ago, HDNet did the production on both conventions and Dish carried both in HD. This time, Dish only had a dedicated HD channel for the Democratic National Convention, though they did have an SD channel for the Republicans. PBS is awesome. In Tulsa it appeared only the last night with McCain was HD on CBS because their broadcast of the Palin speech was SD. I missed checking these channels the first night but PBS was definately HD here locally all three nights. I did not bother trying ABC.
