One wonders if they understand what "public television" means. I was critical when they stopped carrying HD 24 hours a day and made a deal with cable that wasn't friendly to the rest of us. But they carry more and better HD than any other network delivered free over the air. It's too bad that the outlying cable operators don't see it as a critical addition to their services.
