I have seen the movie at Warren and IMAX at Quail and I thought the 3D looked closer to my field of vision at IMAX. However I felt that the clarity of the images at Warren, though they seemed to be further away were clearer(more HD like) if that makes sense. It could have also been that I watched it in the balcony and was further from the screen than I was at Quail. I will say that I prefer the closer 3D effect that I got at IMAX. The preview for HUBBLE 3D IMAX blew me away and I can't wait to see it this year.

I was wondering the same thing if there was much of a difference in the 3D. i have seen several different types of 3D but all different movies. I was wondering if there was a difference in viewing experiance between the Dolby 3D and the IMAX 3D. I saw Avatar at AMC IMAX and was blown away, I guess I need to go see it at the Warren to see if I notice a difference.

My brother in law has been to both and strongly prefers the Warren Theater. Of course that could be because he was able to order beer and nachos from his seat last time we saw a movie there (Star Trek).
