FastPipe Media » HDTV in Oklahoma

Someone contacted me the other day asking why registrations were disabled. There was no special reason except that before I disabled registration we had about 20 or so ‘bot spammers registering each day to try to inject stuff into the database. I had intended to turn registrations back on several months ago, but I got busy and forgot.

Registrations are now turned back on and I’ve added a simple method to discourage ‘bots from registering. Now, you’ll have to solve a simple math equation when you register and also confirm your registration via a link. It won’t stop the ‘bots, but I can enable stronger mechanisms if that becomes necessary. Think of it as the beginning of a nuclear war.

I also deleted more than 20K accounts that had never posted a comment on a post or posted on the forums. If your account was deleted, please register again. I also plan to fix the problem with the forums in the next month or so with the next upgrade of WordPress.

Finally, I also added a new contact form. I’m not sure what happened to the old contact form, but this one works. You can also reach me via my fastpipe twitter account or the hdtvok twitter account if you have a question or information about digital television in Oklahoma.

If you have any problems with your account, let me know.

Does anyone have Tivo premiere series 4?
Cox is supposed to open the on demand library to the new premiere Tivo users (no date on this yet) So I bought one, and once the VOD access goes into effect I will give Cox back the other 2 dvrs we have and go Tivo through the whole house.
You just cnt beat this service (assuming you can get it working to begin with) access to Bockbuster, Amazon, Netflix, Youtube and soon Hulu and Cox VOD!
I am in OKC and having a hell of a time getting this M-card to work, everyone jut keeps saying “the account looks good” or “there isn’t any reason it wouldnt work”
I am told the card is paired, authorized an on the account correctly. I had a Cox HD-Dvr hooked up with the same cables on the same outlet and it worked fine, but the Tivo will not?
The boxes from Cox have cards in them too, should be he same forward data carriers ….Any ideas? Or same problem?
I only get basic and bacis HD channels (unencrypted ones like 704, 705, 709 and their analog counterparts)
Waiting fora call back from customer service, they are chcking to see if the software running on the M card is correct for series 4.

You may have to try several cards to get a good one. When cablecard was first released in our area they had a lot of card issues, not sure if they have been resolved.
