Best Way/Place to Mount Dish

Cox HD DVR Problem

I’ve been having trouble when watching content from the DVR (SA 8000HD), both from RAM and from the disk. Both audio and video seem to stutter, jump, and skip. This seems like a problem with the box. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks, Cosmo

Has there been an update on the prospect of Cox (in OKC) adding more HD channels? ESPN2HD, Bravo, TBS, TNT?, etc? I remember something about bandwidth… Is that still something? DVR recording stops early on Cox

I have noticed that when DVRing desperate housewives and the simpsons that the recording stops about 1 minute before the broadcast ends (I have the SA 8000HD). Sound Drop Out On local HD – Cox

I’m getting random audio drops on 704, 705, & 709 on Cox. Sometimes switching to another channel and switching back fixes it. Sometimes not. KWTV Cut-Out on Cox

KWTV-DT is consistently ‘cutting-out’ (completely drops picture and sound) for about 0.5 to 1 second, every 45 seconds or so – throughout CSI on 1/1/04, including commercials. This is on Cox in ‘Short’ NW OKC. (Picture and sound are great otherwise). Any other info regarding cut-out?

About the first thing I noticed tonight is that the NBA game on ESPNHD is all ‘stretched’ and squished (not stretched like expanding the edges of 4:3 (aka ‘zoom’), more like an even stretch of the whole screen (called ‘Full’ on my Hitachi) so everything looks squashed). Cox HD Lineup Question

Referring to the Cox webpage (for what it’s worth…), their HD lineup in OKC shows: DiscoveryHD, ESPNHD, HBOHD, ShowtimeHD, KFOR-DTV, and KOCO-DTV.
