While checking signal strengths tonight, I noticed that KTBO-DT 15-1 was up and had a signal strength of 70 here in Mustang. It was just simulcasting what was on their analog channel 14. pf

I sent my end-of-month email to KOCO (I have given up on KWTV) inquiring as to expected start of HD broadcasting. Here is today’s response: From: dwevans@hearst.com Subject: Re: AUTOMATIC EMAIL – Feedback Date: Wed, 25 Sep 2002 09:08:07 -0500 We are planning on beginning broadcasting a digital signal by November 1, 2002

I received the following email at work today. “Subject: Notice of Commencement of Digital Television (DTV) Operation In compliance with FCC regulations, KTBO-TV of Oklahoma City has notified the Health Sciences Center of its intention to begin transmission of digital television signals on or after September 9, 2002. I happened by the TitanTV web site this morning and noticed that they have removed KFOR from their digital list and are now showing it being activated in January.
