You have seen the commercials for a few weeks now and on Nov 20th Cox released some new HD channels.

Dolby Digital on Cox HD

With DirecTV and Dish both adding lots of new channels, Cox has also been busy adding new HD content:
Cox will have the baseball playoffs in HD in both OKC and Tulsa. TBS HD will launch on channel 731 by October 3rd.

Cox Announces Upcoming Launches of Four Discovery High-Definition Networks

 Cox announced that it will carry the Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet and The Science Channel all in HD. The roll out for OKC metro I was told would be soon but no specific dates were given.

Live Earth on Universal HD

Live Earth: The Concerts for a Climate in Crisis, which is being globally distributed in HD starts July 7th at around 3 AM Central Time on Universal HD. Intelsat will uplink 8 stages around the world over a 22 hour period.

Cox Cable Tests HD On DEMAND

All New HBO Channels will be MPEG4

Cox OKC and Tulsa Adding A&E HD June 25th and History HD in Sept

Cox will be adding A&E HD on channel 727 on Monday, June 25th to both the Oklahoma City and Tulsa system.
Once History HD launches in September it will be added as well.
