HDMI vs Component

I have been reading some articles (online) about how component is not much better image wise than HDMI. I purchased a Magnavox 50 inch DLP TV that has HDMI input but didn’t have a need to use until I recently installed a new DirecTV HD receiver last week. Your opinions would be very welcomed.

Suddenlink Adding HDNet and HDNet Movies in Stillwater

Suddenlink Communications is adding HDNet and HDNet Movies in June for Stillwater customers. The changes were announced Monday at the Stillwater City Council meeting. Perhaps this is good news for other former Cox Cable affiliates in rural Oklahoma.

Cebridge Suddenly Suddenlink

Cebridge Connections is being renamed Suddenlink Communications following the acquisition of cable franchises in Oklahoma and Texas. Oklahoma franchises include Alva, Blackwell, Chickasha, Crescent, Cushing, Drumright, Enid, Grove, Dewar, Henryetta, Lindsay, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Pauls Valley, Perry, Perkins, Seminole, Stillwater, Wagoner, Wewoka and Wynnewood. No word on what their HDTV offerings will be after the aquisition.

Cox HD Volume

Have any other Cox subscribers noticed a decrease in audio volume on the HD channels. I assume it is their way to save bandwidth or is it just a problem with my equipment?

I notice half letters on the bottom of my TV but on my news channels CNBC MSNBC etc. The letters are good how can I fix this problem?
