KOCO-DT KSWO Channel 7 Post DTV Transition

Now that KSWO has vacated channel 7 at midnight last night, has anyone noticed any change in the KOCO-DT reception? Has it got better, worse, or the same? Take a look at your DTV signal strength meter if you have one on your equipment.

FCC Releases Official List of Stations Terminating Analog Broadcasts

KWTV Starts DTV Crawl

KWTV has started a crawl at the bottom of their picture stating that they will cease analog broadcasting at 1:00 PM February 17, 2009.

Congress Passes DTV Delay Bill

Congress passed today a bill that would change the DTV transition date from February 17th to June 12th. President Obama said he plans to sign the bill. I believe most stations in Oklahoma will still cut off their analog transmitter on February 17th anyways.

Seinfeld in HD for Local Syndication

Seinfeld will be avilable in HD for local syndication later this month Sony Pictures plan to annouce at CES this week. Currently I don’t know of any station in OKC that can broadcast HD syndicated programming. I believe there is one station in Tulsa that can do this. READ
