NBC Universal is pulling the plug on Weather Plus. This is great news because hopefully this will mean more bandwidth and better picture quality for the NBC HD. NBC bought a minor stake in the Weather Channel in July putting a bulls eye on Weather Plus.

TVpredictions.com is reporting that Cox Communications has agreed to carry Lifetime Television HD and Lifetime Movie Network HD. No word yet has to when it is going to be rolled out in Oklahoma. The article hinted that we may see a rollout next month before the second season of Arm Wives on June 8.

Tulsa’s NBC affiliate, KJRH Channel 2, made history Monday night by becoming the first Oklahoma station to broadcast its local news in high definition.
