The anchors seemed to be really stiff and had extra big smiles. They just sat there smiled and said "we'll be right back." None of the normal witty banter that they normally have. Anyway, I caught part of this broadcast on Mon. night during the 6:30 p.m. broadcast. It began as the normal washed out 4:3 picture then went to commercial break around 6:40. When they came back from commercial break they were in studio in HD and introduced the "Great State or What" segment which was also completely in HD. When this concluded they returned to the studio in HD then broke for another commercial. This time they returned in the old ugly 4:3. Needless to say I was shocked at what I saw so I rewound the dvr and watched it again. I'm positive that it was HD and the picture was on par with that of the Tonight Show. Now I have not seen any more local HD on kfor since then.
