GOOD NEWS: FCS Central is televising the OSU-Missouri State game on Sept. 13.
BAD NEWS: The game will not be carried on Cox's system -- not even in SD.

Here is an excerpt of Cox's response to my inquiry:

"Channel space is limited asset and currently we do not have any immediate plans to carry the FCS Central Network channel..."

"I am sorry that we will not be carrying this OSU game..."

Sorry Edmond - can't see this is bad news for Poke fans like me. It is a home game, we need backsides in seats. Not a home on a couch.

I understand your point, PokeFan. But playing on TV helps build our fanbase, gives fans/alumni who cannot attend in person a chance to watch the games, and helps our recruiting efforts. Consistently winning year in and year out will put fannies in the seats. (Cheaper ticket prices might help, too, but that's a discussion for another board ...)

FWIW, I am an OSU alum and I can't wait for the day when we regularly sellout BPS. I also can't wait for the day that OSU is winning so much that we're on TV every week -- home and away.

I'll be cheering the Pokes at BPS tomorrow vs. Houston. I'll be the guy wearing an orange shirt and hat, so be sure to say hello if you see me! :-)

    Go Pokes!!!

So is this channel carried by Dish or Directv?

My understanding is that Dish and DirecTV both carry FCS games as part of their sports packages. Check the zip code/availability section on this website.
