I haven't been able to pickup the signal for over twenty-four hours? My signal strenghth had been pretty strong. Does anyone know if they are down?

They have been off Directv for at least that long. Directv's slide says "This TV station is having technical difficulties"

Wow, I am glad you guys are having this problem too. I was getting ready to check all my equipment. It has been a long time since a DTV channel went out for this long.

I have the same issue. KTUL is typically the weakest of the network channels I am able to receive. From what I understand KTUL intentionally decreases the power of their signal south of I-40(which is where I live). I'm not sure how true that is, however I do receive a much stronger signal from 29/40 which is based in Arkansas. The issue with using 29/40 instead of KTUL is that if I point my antenna to receive 29/40 I lose all of the tulsa based networks.

Late edit: Perhaps some of the upgrades listed here may have something to do with the downtime?

Just read this on another forum, if true the signal will be back in in approx 20 minutes.

My wife pointed out to me that KTUL channel 8.1 has been without a signal for a couple of days now. I've checked with my Dish 622, Sony TV, and Insignia converter box. All of them show no signal, yet I'm getting the SD version from the satellite.

    Anybody know what's going on?
I noticed the same at my house.
Just talked to folks at KTUL and they said there was a hardware
failure that is waiting for a part. Supposed to be back on the air tomorrow at noon.
