Hey all, I was trying to us my rabbit ears last night to get the ABC HD channel because of the whole Hearst-Argyle and COX crap going on but didnt have any luck. Can someone help me? I have a Mitsubishi 65″ widescreen HDTV with the Cox 8300HD-DVR box. I live in the Oak Ridge Addition in Moore just south of 149th street and Sante Fe. Im trying to get this figure out before Saturday in order to see the OU / TX game in HD, while the battle rages between them knuckleheads at Cox and HA. Im pretty desparate to get this going, so any help will be greatly appreciated! Like the new site by the way, havent visited in a while. |

Same problem with me in Yukon at I40/Morgan. I can’t get a signal at all. I’ve used both an external HDTV receiver and the Internal receiver. Additionally, I’ve tried two different Phillips indoor VHF/UHF antenna’s and a TERK indoor VHF/UHF antenna to no avail. If anyone has any ideas, it would be GREAT! I too would LOVE to be able to see the OU/TX game in HD OTA. |

I live in Norman and have tried every possible location around my TV with no luck. Finally I got a 16ft cable and took my antenna out to the back yard and voila I got the signal. Hopefully Cox will eventually realize their hypocracy in being outraged at ABC wanting to charge them for a free OTA signal, when that is exactly what Cox is doing to us. |

An indoor probably won’t work in those areas because you loose so much signal having to go thru walls and such. I would suggest trying to get your antenna in the attic or even better outdoors. The higher the better. |
