We recently upgraded to HDDTV. S new 6 LCD dish was installed and a HD reciever. We recieve 5, 9, and 25 HD with no subchannels. We do get all the DTV HD channels. With a temp outside ant we could get the subchannels. We live in Norman. A friend lives 8 miles N of Central Edmond. He gets all channels (4, 13 and more)and all subchanells and swears he does not have and antenna hooked up. I called DTV and they said all they furnish is 5, 9 and 25 and no subchannels. Any thoughts. I would love to get all the channels and subchannels.

Your friend is wrong. You need an OTA (over the air) antenna to get the subchannels as well as any other local HD channels broadcast over the air that are not carried by DirecTV.

As of Saturday, 6/30/3007, you can also get KFOR-4 on DirecTV, it has been reported.
