This morning, while watching 9-1 at about 10:56 AM, as Bob Barker was about to reveal the showcase winner on The Price Is Right, the feed suddenly switched to a no-audio newsroom view of what appeared for all the world to be KTVT-HD — CBS11 in Dallas/Fort Worth, owned by Gaylord Broadcasting. A woman was sitting at a desk putting on makeup as if preparing to do a “news break,” and technicians were scrambling around her, one holding up a sheet of paper with the handwritten note “working on audio.”
It lasted for about 60 seconds, then the feed cut back to CBS – after the showcase had been determined and the credits were running. Funny.
(FYI – you could see Bob Barker working the audience, which means no one won the showcase. It was a double overbid. The things I remember from youth.)
