KJRH Tulsa 5.1 Surround Problem

osmith78	Is anyone else having issues with surround sound on KJRH? None of the programming I’ve watched recently is in 5.1. It’s not my system, it is doing it on two receivers. I have COX, with motorola dvrs. Even the superbowl lacked surround, as well as all primetime programming.

jedicurt	I’ve been having the same problem with KWTV HD on Cox in OKC.

Dennis Whiteman	Not sure if that was a joke or not, but KWTV doesn’t have the equipment to do Dolby Digital 5.1. Dennis

doublej	KJRH switched back to plain Dolby because of a problem with the way NBC is doing 5.1. If you have ever tried to watch NBC’s Master feeds you will see the crazy way they deliver 5.1 audio

osmith78	Well, crazy or not, or sure sounded a heck of a lot better than it does now. I put it on dolby, but it’s just not the same. Now it’s full of clicky-like noises throughout the whole show. Any ideas on how to fix this?

doublej	I have several NBC shows I have recorded and watched off of KJRH now in the last few days and I have not noticed any audio problems thru the tv speakers or my surround system.
