I wanted to know if anyone else had noticed the small white rectangle that appears in the upper left corner of KWTV’s signal when they are running the crawl on the bottom. It doesn’t really bother me all that much, but they must have something set wrong to have this weird little white box in the corner. My brother has Cox in OKC and says that he doesn’t see it at all. I’m getting KWTV OTA and I’ve seen this for two days in a row (ever since they’ve been running a crawl for the school closings, etc.)

Yes, there is a random white box in the upper left corner. Both COX OKC and OTA have the white box. Probably your brother does not have his TV set to “Just Scan”, which will cut off some of each side of the picture.
I am just glad KWTV can actually overlay the closings instead of going down to SD. Now KWTV just needs to broadcast in 5.1.

I guess we’ll have a couple more years to wait for that. They haven’t exactly been in any hurry for whatever reason.
