I am having problems receiving KTUL-DT again. Both of my tuners are not able to lock on. I am at Grand Lake but am getting all other stations fine.
Anybody else have problems?

This is the reply from KTUL-DT….
A good reference site that I use is http://www.antennaweb.org/. It is hosted by CEA. It will
recommend a type of antenna for your particular location based on the
location of all the broadcasters.
We have experienced viewers with reception
problems relating specifically to KTUL’s signal. We believe the
problem to be due to the strong NTSC signal that is next to our DTV
signal. When OETA signs off we have noticed our signal popping in,
where before it was undetected. And this is especially true where a
viewer has used a high gain antenna. We have also heard of success in
these particular occassions when the viewer has switched to a
directional antenna, allowing them to limit the effect of OETA’s NTSC
signal. All this should be resolved once we get out of this period of
time when we are operating 2 different signals sidebyside. But for
now, if you feel this could be the problem, we recommend trying to
minimize the effect of the strong 11 signal.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you for taking the time to write and share your experience.
Sincerely,
–
