The big game is coming up tomorrow morning, OU vs. Miami. I decided to get an HDTV this past spring an antenna. I get the analog abc channel but the HDTV, DT, version doesn’t not show up. http://www.winegard.com/offair/vhfuhf.htm I have using the Winegard HD7080P Antenna in my attick pointed in a north, north east direction. So it is pointed in the right direction for the signal. I am located at sw 104th and penn. Any tips??? |

I would go to the AntennaWeb site and get the exact azimuth angle for your location and double check your alignment… http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx Also, have you tried rescanning the digital signals on your TV? |

Is the KOCO-DT UHF??? If so I know why Im not getting it. My HDTV’s, a Aquos 1080p, and Mitsu 1080p both can’t get UHF signals below 12. Any tuner I could go buy local quick? |

KOCO is VHF. You’ll need a VHF antenna to pick up their signal. However, they must take classes in stupid at that station. The Michigan-Oregon game is available in HD but KOCO is broadcasting it in standard def. That, along with the Cox debacle, has me about ready to tell KOCO to jump off a bridge. |

Is anyone getting an OTA HD signal from KOCO? I contacted the RF Engineer at KOCO and he informed me to tune to 7.1 or 7.3 for a signal. It is a VHF broadcast. I tried and had no success. I called Best Buy to see if might be the new TV or amplified OTA antenna I just purchased. They tried hooking up an OTA antenna to three different TV models to receive KOCO HD and were unsuccessful. |

Sooner Al, Do you mind me asking what make of HDTV and antenna you are using? Also, does your HDTV have a built in tuner or are you using a box? If I do not get this resolved by OU/TEX I will go ballistic. |

OK guys, I got it!! I had to go buy another antenna even though I have this huge antenna that should get it. It took only one time to get the channel. I used this antenna and pointed it in the correct direction. Trek TV55 |

In my case I use a Channel Master STEALTHtenna 3010 installed in my attic to pickup Over-The-Air (OTA) digital HD broadcasts. I happen to live on the south east side of Norman about a mile south of OK-9 and about a mile west of US-77. http://www.hdtvantennalabs.com/antennas/ChannelMaster-CM3010.html I have a Panasonic TH-50PX6U HDTV which includes a built-in ATSC tuner. FWIW, I don’t use an external amplifier between the antenna and TV. Glad to hear you got your issue fixed… |

Thanks for your input. After reading Chrisrokc’s post, I replaced my antenna with a Terk and will now enjoy ABC college football in HD. |
