Newshawk	That is correct. DirecTV now has KJRH, KTUL and KOKI on satellite in HD. I just saw a report that KOTV should be on in about two weeks.

Drenhead	That is good news. I currently have a DirecTV HD Tivo and get the locals in HD over the air. I know I’ll have to get a new mpeg-4 DVR from Directv to view their locals. I would like to keep my HDTivo also, however. Can I do that? Does anyone know how I can get the best deal on the Directv HD DVR? Thanks in advance.

Newshawk	Call DirecTV and ask for the whole house HD DVR swap. You’ll get a new HR20 for your HR10 and you have the option to keep the HR10 and relocate it to another room. The best part-it’s only $99 per HD DVR (including dish and installation).

Drenhead	Thanks for the advice. I’ll give that a try. I just hope they don’t make me give up my HR10-250. It still works great and I love the Tivo software.

Kevin Sherrard	The HD local channels from DirecTV will not work with the DirecTV HD Tivo box. The box has to be up to pick up the signal from the KA satellites

Drenhead	Yeah, I just want to keep it since I also get all the locals in HD over the air. That way I can record 4 HD programs at the same time. ( I know…i watch waaay too much TV)
