Two new HD channels coming May 25th

hdtver	They are: Style HD on Channel 765 (oh) Fox Soccer HD on Channel 702 (Yeah) Plus SWRV on channel 900 (whatever that is) Cox is inching ever closer to the magical 100 real full time HD channels lineup that all cable providers talk about and most fudge when talking about the actual total they carry. Dish and DirecTV are constantly in a verbal food fight over how many HD channels they carry.

hdtver	Thanks CoxEmp for that info. Also a tip of the hat to Cox for “The Digital Dispatch from Cox–April/May 2010″ email received today sent from Cox_Oklahoma_City@updates.cox.com which contains brief bits of info on epix and Vutopia, FSC HD, Style HD and SWRV TV plus FSOklahoma, “Home of the Cardinals” 267 (SD), 702 (OKC) and 714 (Tulsa). That last bit is somewhat confusing because earlier in the email 702 is referred to as “Fox Soccer HD” Can you clear this up for us?

boy	Hooray for Fox Soccer Channel HD! Of course, it comes just in time for the summer (no European soccer to speak of), but I look forward to the start of the season(s) in Aug/Sep.

Sooner Al	Well 2010 FIFA World Cup is this summer so I would expect some coverage of that on FSC. Remember the ESPN/ABC family of channels is providing most of the coverage though. Bottom line though is the more HD channels the better IMHO…

boy	I just wish they would start it one week earlier so we could get the run-up to the Champions League final in HD. boy	Thanks for the info! The picture is amazing compared to 262, which has to be the most pixelated / blocky sports channel on television (FSC “less-than-SD”).
