Anyone else notice this evening about 20 minutes into “My Name is Earl” weather graphics superimposed over HD? Earl started in SD for about the first 20 minutes, then HD popped on with the weather bug in the bottom right for a couple minutes. Then the weather bug left and a small green block appeared on the left side of the picture for a minute or so. So does KJRH have the equipment to put graphics on HD now?

Channel 2 appears to have some HD graphics now. I noticed it last night durring Leno. However, they had to switch to SD when they showed the RADAR. But the Warning/Watch box graphics do work with HD now.

I noticed the technicians were testing the HD superimposed graphics last night during Conan on KJRH-HD. More then once the screen switched from HD to SD and back with different version of the HD watch/warning map each time. I guess they were trying to see which one looked best. I don’t remember seeing any radar graphics, so I don’t know if that’s in HD yet or not. The watch/warning map they had looked very nice. Hopefully the other locals will follow suit soon.
