Well my Mitsubishi WS55859 had one of it’s alignment chips go out and it’s suppose to run about $400 to fix, I am thinking I would hate to spend that just to have the CRT’s go out in a year or two anyway since I bought it back in 02.

Anyway so I have been looking for a new tv this past few days. I realy wanted to save up and get a laservue but don’t want to spend that much.

So down to my main question (the rest was just filler to maybe help get a better desicion.) I am trying to decide do I spend the extra and get something like the Pioneer Elite Plamsa 50 inch Pro-111FD or do I just settle for something like a Samsung PN50A760 and pay about $1500 less? I really wasn’t plaining on getting a new tv for a while but now that mine went out I am feeling kind of rushed.

Anyone have either of the two plasma’s mentioned above or any advise on maybe what they would do?

Also I realy dont want any smaller then a 50 inch, since we are use to a 55.

    Thanks in advance.
